Impart aims to use media as a pedagogical intervention to help school students learn skills such as communication, research and the art of asking the right questions. Students will be in charge of news gathering and producing newspapers at the school level.
This social enterprise believes that students must know how to source correct information. Otherwise, they end up being misinformed about many things happening around them. At the same time, such an exercise helps develop their communication and problem-solving skills very sharply.
According to Neha, “These school newspapers will also eventually emerge as an alternative media that will promote social change, not just at the school level, but also at the community level.”
